Ubud Palace

On your next trip to Ubud, stop by the Ubud Royal Palace for a bit of magic. Since the late nineteenth century, this humble castle in the centre of Ubud has been the residence of Ubud’s royal family, witnessing the establishment of the Kingdom of Ubud. Originally restricted for the royal family, portions of the palace are now open to the public and serve as a museum and centre for Bali traditional arts.

It’s a terrific spot to have a peek of the royal family’s historic everyday life and Balinese culture, as well as take some colourful photos of the magnificent building and charming courtyards.
